Saints Alive
Inspired by the beloved PBS series Antiques Roadshow, Jukebox Roadshow invites you to bring a favorite song or piece of music from your personal “jukebox” and share it with fellow Saint Alivers.
Classical, opera, jazz, Big Band, pop, folk, rock ’n’ roll—or anything in between—we want to hear the music you love. David will “appraise” your selection, exploring everything from tempo, key, and melody to the harmonic and emotional qualities that make a particular tune so memorable and meaningful.
Bring your selection on your phone or tablet, or simply bring the title, and David will find it online. You can also send your favorite ahead of time to David at dhorvath08@gmail.com.
Come ready to listen, share, and discover the stories and sounds behind the music we love. It’s sure to be a tuneful evening!
Light supper and refreshments will be served.
