Rector's Forum - In the Last Days

All Church

How should Christians think about the end of all things?

The Bible's last word is not catastrophe but communion, not fear but hope. The God who spoke light into the darkness has promised to bring His good creation to its glorious fulfillment in Jesus Christ.

In this three-week series at the Rector’s Forum, we'll explore what Scripture says about the return of Christ, the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and the new creation. Together we'll move beyond speculation and headlines to discover the quiet confidence of the Church's enduring hope.

To speak of the last days is not to escape the present, but to see it more clearly. God’s future casts its light backward, teaching us to recognize the signs of His kingdom already breaking into our ordinary lives. The saints have long answered that promise not only with words, but with lives shaped by beauty, grace, mercy, and steadfast hope.

Join us as we rediscover the biblical vision of the end—not as an ending, but as the beginning of all things made new.
