Join us for a fun day trip as we take the SunRail from Winter Park to Sanford to explore one of Central Florida’s historic Episcopal churches.
After taking the SunRail from Winter Park to Sanford, we will catch the shuttle to the historic downtown district and walk a short distance to Holy Cross Episcopal Church, where we will enjoy a special guided tour led by Fr. Jared Jones. Founded in 1873, Holy Cross is considered the first Episcopal mission in Central Florida.
Following the tour, Fr. Jared will join us for lunch at Hollerbach’s German Restaurant. After lunch, we’ll take some time to browse the charming shops in historic Sanford before heading back.

Arrival Time: No later than 9:10 AM (to allow time to purchase tickets)
Train Departure: 9:39 AM northbound to Sanford
