German organist Raphael Attila Vogl studied in Regensburg, Budapest, and New York, earning his Master’s degree and Doctor of Musical Arts from The Juilliard School under Grammy Award–winner Paul Jacobs. A prizewinner of major competitions including the International Mendelssohn, Tariverdiev, and World Bach Competitions, he made his Alice Tully Hall debut in 2020 with the New York premiere of Sophia Gubaidulina’s The Rider on the White Horse. He has since performed in renowned halls and cathedrals across Europe and America, including appearances with the Philadelphia Orchestra under Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
