Join us for a screening of Freud's Last Session at Aloma Cinema Grill (during which refreshments may be ordered). Following the film, stay for a lively discussion on Freud and Lewis with Dr. Robert Smither, a former psychology professor at Rollins College and Dean Emeritus, and the Rev'd. Andrew Lazo, an internationally recognized scholar and speaker on Lewis and an Episcopal priest. Following their discussion, Rollins College theater professor Dr. Marianne Di Quattro will moderate a Q&A for those attending.
Movie synopsis: The world is on the brink. A monumental session with two of the greatest minds of the twentieth century over the future of humanity and the existence of God.
On the eve of the Second World War and the end of his life, Sigmund Freud, played by Anthony Hopkins, invites iconic author C.S. Lewis, played by Matthew Goode, for a debate over the existence of God.
